2016 Mileage Mania!

MileageMania_smallLogo01The 2016 Mileage Mania is in the books!

Congratulations to our top three finishers, who will be receiving small prizes. But the big winner this year is Freedom Service Dogs, an organization that rescues dogs from shelters and trains them to be service dogs for veterans, the elderly and even children with disabilities. Together, the Mileage Mania riders contributed $345 to the Freedom Service Dogs. Below is the response letter from Jon Hughes, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Freedom Service Dogs:

On behalf of the dogs we rescue and the clients we serve, I would like to thank you for your recent donation of $345.00 which we received on 11/19/2016.
Your support is inspiring and fuels our mission.
Because of you, we are able to continue rescuing dogs and providing them as accredited service dogs to people living with disabilites.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by incredible clients who live with hope, amazing dogs who once had an unknown future, and a community of supporters who believe in the work we are doing.
Would you like to see exactly what your donation helps to make happen? Then, watch a video of thanks … one from a client and his dog. Patrick’s video says it all.  (Can you believe this happy, tail-wagging dog was once abused by his owners?)
Because of you people like Patrick and dogs like Ripple have each other. Thank you.
Jon Hughes
Chairman, Board of Directors

Thanks to everyone who participated this year. Please spread the word and help us make next year’s Mileage Mania challenge even bigger!
